Scientists found a new method of vaccination that might replace traditional vaccine shots.
”Scientists of Stanford university and University of North Carolina have successfully developed a vaccine using 3D technology that promises a much greater immune response than traditional shots” says Scitech daily.
In this method scientists transfer a large amount of immune cells into body, using microneedling technique.
Based on research done on animals in Stamford university department of science, vaccine patches are 10 times more effective than traditional vaccine shots in arm.
Results show that vaccine patches generates T.cell and antigen-specific antibody response some 50 times greater than traditional vaccine shots, this increase in immune response can result in lowering the need for supplementary vaccine and therefore decreasing the need for second and third dose.
