The saffron stigma branches are three branches and the upper part is horny, the lower the lower the narrower, the saffron flag is curvaceous and is different from the corncrake that is straight.
Of course, if the saffron is fermented, it can only be detected by laboratory devices. However, there are other ways to do this.
1- Take a piece of saffron on the gas flame. If the color is purple or orange, it is pure saffron. But if it turns yellow, it shows the impurity and counterfeit of saffron.
2- If you put the saffron blade between the newspaper and press a little, it should not leave any fat stains. If so, it is likely to be fake saffron.
3- Put some saffron in gasoline. If the petrol is colored, your saffron is not original.
