General Product Discription:
Saffron is an herb from the Irridaceae family. The family that contains 60 genus and more than 1500 species and most of them are cultivated as ornamental saffron.
There are 100 species of saffron only in Crocus genus, and our saffron is from Crocus Sativus L. or better known as ornamental saffron, that are different from other species by their stigma’s color, length and aura.
Saffron is mostly known as an organic herb since there is so little chemical products used in their cultivation such as pesticide and weed killers, that is because their grow circulation mostly happens in cold winter time when pests are less and animals and rodents movements are at the lowest point.
